William Christopher Skelley

William Christopher Skelley is a founder, operator, and writer based in Da Nang, Vietnam.

He founded iFunding, one of the early US real estate crowdfunding platforms, and exited in 2017. His background includes Rose Park Advisors, General Electric, Bain Capital, and Olympus (New York reporting to Tokyo). Across his career he has been involved in over $1B of real estate transactions and has helped raise roughly $100M in equity and debt across the US and Asia.

After leaving New York he has traveled widely (around 49 countries) and writes about what travel and building taught him: patience, respect for culture and language, and why relationships beat transactions.

He currently builds Santara AI and publishes regularly on Substack.
